UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. If You're Trying To Hide Away From A Crime On Foot......don't do it when there is snow on the ground. I'm a busy dude, and this blog is a free-time hobby of mine, and while I like many of your newscasts and your stories (as I like KTVZ for other reasons) when it comes to my blog, I link to the most relevant information I can get to quickly. KOHD's site doesn't load nearly as fast as KTVZ's generally does, though I like your layout a LOT better -- KTVZ's gives me a headache sometimes, and I get email news updates from KTVZ. Since I work out of my inbox, generally, it's easier for me to post stuff that I can find there. You're welcome to post those relevant links in the comments anytime you want, I really don't care and would honestly encourage it, but if you want me to link to you guys in the article, you need to make it easier for me.
