"The System Doesn't Work" News For The Day

Few stories of varying ages:

  • A speeding motorist who killed a teenage cyclist is suing the boy's parents over damage to his luxury car, the government says. Full story.
  • Guess who's facing 21 years in prison: the drunk , rich, white kid or the sober, poor, black guy? I'll let you guess.
  • A Wisconsin man was wrongfully put in jail for eight months, lost his job, his credit, most of his money, and the state is only going to give him $5000 for his trouble. Needless to say, he wants more.
