UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. You Mean I Could've Had It Repaired This Entire Time?Apparently Nintendo has been offering repairs to the nearly 25 year old Nintendo Entertainment System, but has now deciding to stop repairing them due to lack of spare parts (more comment at BetaNews). It's sad, really, as I'd love for my old NES to work again so didn't have to run emulators on a PC to play the old classics. But it does say a lot about Nintendo as a company that they've supported the product for this long when most companies out there won't support their products for more than a year.
