More On The Bend Clothesline Flap
After threatening legal action against a local woman for trying to hang up a clothesline in her yard, Brooks Resources has now decided that instead of taking advantage of the international coverage and being the good guys in all this and show that they're a good green company, they've decided to just postpone dealing with the matter.

"Brooks Resources will: continue discussions with the Community Associations Institute based in Alexandria, Georgia; research ways other communities around the nation have dealt with the issue; and seek conceptual design solutions from selected design professionals to find acceptable approaches to screening laundry from view."
Gotta love how expensive they can make the issue of hanging clothes. About 20 years ago, I bought a line and clothes pins for about ten bucks. No consultants, no design professionals, and no electric bills.

If it is in the backyard behind a fence seems to me it would be fine. I see no problem with requiring screening. I think the whole thing is getting blown WAY out of proportion. Sounds like a grab for attention on her part to me.
