UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 31-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Moron For The DaySo a crook steals a guy's Mac laptop. The original owner of the laptop had it setup to upload pictures out of Photobooth onto his account on Flickr, so two good high res photos of the crook (or the laptop's new owner) were uploaded onto Flickr here and here. The Something Awful folks are trying to track the guy down using the images there along with the video from the security cam (still images here). I can't wait to see how this turns out and if anybody has a SA forums user name and can see how they're doing, let me know -- if anybody can track that guy down, the SA forum community can.
