Need AA Batteries?
Go buy one of those 6 Volt lantern batteries for $5, and you'll net yourself 32 AAs:
I have two of these batteries in my workbench (the flashlight that I used them with is hosed) and I'll be tearing them open tomorrow (as we always need AAs around here).s
Link via Lifehacker.
Update on 10/16: It was a hoax.

Brad said on 09/20/07 @ 05:36 PM: yeah, any word on whether this is worth it?
stratboy said on 09/20/07 @ 06:20 PM: i bought a metric ton of AA's at Costco for about $8
not really worth the effort try the hack.
the lesson is don't pay $5 for four batteries.

This site is © 2001 - 2008 by the Utterly Boring folks at UtterlyBoring.com. Steal my content, as I probably did, too, just link to my site or the original site. Batteries not included.
