UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. Once his team was called, emergency as a guy had a heart attack in his home in the middle of the night. The EMT took him to the hospital, saved his life, yadda yadda, and a few days later he returns home to see that the EMT, before they closed the door, had - get this - neglected to switch off the lights.
