If Anybody's Game...

...it looks like TGI Friday's is looking for a Bend franchisee. I've only eaten at one once, many years ago, so I have no idea what they're like. But they are wanting to open here, it would appear.

TGI Friday's has great food, especially their ribs. They'd give Baldy's some competition.

Wow, don't know about that, Dave.

TGIF is a giant chain, just like Chili's or Applebee's. The food is OK, but to say they'd give Baldy's some competition is a crime.

The person that opens a TGIF franchise must have a net worth of $6million with at least $2.5mil in the bank.

A Taco Bell franchise is just below that.

And personally, I've never had anything that I've enjoyed at TGIF. The only "chain" restaurant that I look forward to is PF Changs. Mmmmm. Lettuce wraps.

Whoa... hard room. ;)

I've never liked Applebee's, the food is seasoned oddly to my taste. Chili's I like, but not as much as I used to. Haven't been to a Friday's in quite a while, maybe the food has degraded, or it's simply a matter of taste. Never tried a PF Changs. I'll have to keep an eye out for one.

I'd be happy to have zero chain restaurants in Bend. I'd rather have Canyons in Redmond open a second restaurant in the area than another chain. I really like supporting the small business.
