...it looks like TGI Friday's is looking for a Bend franchisee. I've only eaten at one once, many years ago, so I have no idea what they're like. But they are wanting to open here, it would appear.
Dave Goodman said on 05/16/07 @ 11:05 PM: TGI Friday's has great food, especially their ribs. They'd give Baldy's some competition.
Abe said on 05/17/07 @ 12:39 AM: Wow, don't know about that, Dave.
TGIF is a giant chain, just like Chili's or Applebee's. The food is OK, but to say they'd give Baldy's some competition is a crime.
Keeneye said on 05/17/07 @ 07:54 AM: The person that opens a TGIF franchise must have a net worth of $6million with at least $2.5mil in the bank.
A Taco Bell franchise is just below that.
And personally, I've never had anything that I've enjoyed at TGIF. The only "chain" restaurant that I look forward to is PF Changs. Mmmmm. Lettuce wraps.
Dave Goodman said on 05/17/07 @ 08:35 AM: Whoa... hard room. ;)
I've never liked Applebee's, the food is seasoned oddly to my taste. Chili's I like, but not as much as I used to. Haven't been to a Friday's in quite a while, maybe the food has degraded, or it's simply a matter of taste. Never tried a PF Changs. I'll have to keep an eye out for one.
