UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and Ad Designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. digg Users Go Crazy, RevoltIf you've looked at digg's front page tonight, you'll notice that the users are going nuts and are basically revolting. Why? Because of this stupid series of hex codes: 09-F9-11-02-9D-74-E3-5B-D8-41-56-C5-63-56-88-C0. What is this number? Read up here, here, here, here, here, here, here here, here, here, and here and don't be surprised if it disappears from here at some point. As of right now, digg.com is has been taken down and replaced with their "out of service" page.
