UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 32-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. What If That Street Performer Was Actually A World-Class Musician?As an experiment, the Washington Post setup a world-class vionlist to act as a street performer. He played some of the violin's most difficult arrangements perfectly, but did anybody care any more? Sadly, no (the story has a telling video). Be sure to read the full back story as well.
