UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. It's Official: The Terrorists Have Won
Getting through security at the airport is bad enough, but now those little security trays you dump your stuff into will now have ads. Link via Fark.

stratboy said on 01/11/07 @ 05:13 PM: Actually, this is good economics, which for a gov't agency is odd. The companies advertising will supply the bins, tables and other non-electronic consumables....which means that the TSA (taxpayers) can budget less money for these items.
Advertising doesn't bother me that much. If I don't need/want something, I don't buy it.
I'm sure any money saved by the TSA will probably end up being spent on something completely wasteful...but at least someone was thinking outside the box on this one.
