Two Local Missing Snowmobilers Found, Only One Survived (Updated)While I have to say that after 48 hours in below freezing (and sometimes below zero) weather, it's hard to expect anything good to come out of this, but it's still sad. Two snowmobiles and footprints in the deep snow led searchers to a Bend father and son, missing for two days in the cold, snowy woods near Mt. Bachelor, but only the son survived, authorities said Wednesday. Update: The deceased father is apparently still out in the woods, and they plan on getting him tomorrow after they recover from searching for the last 48 hours. Posted by Jake on 11/29/06 @ 09:35 AM
