Granted, this was probably a total setup to get a point across, but that doesn't mean that the thought of destroying obnoxious people's cell phones hasn't crossed all of our minds.
Jason Carr said on 10/10/06 @ 09:19 PM: I carry a cell phone with me all the time. It's my personal cell, but I use it a lot for work. Since I'm out in the public (often covering city council meetings, court cases, etc.) I leave my phone on vibrate. That way if someone really needs to get a hold of me I can look at the screen to see who's calling, and then step outside if it's important. It's less distracting to everyone else, and I don't look like such an ass right in the middle of something important (I'm speaking from experience!)
