UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and Ad Designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. Local Photographer Published In Time Magazine<ego stroke>Congrats to Simone at Emerald Bay Photography who recently got her first photo published in Time Magazine</ego stroke>. Granted, I'm taking Simone's word on this as the two stores that I was at yesterday had the particular issue, but they didn't have this story in them for some reason (Maybe it's a regional thing?). Beats me as too where you actually buy the magazine *with* that section in it though - but in was both of the sample issues the editor sent me on Friday ...
