UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 31-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. This Is Totally Screwed UpThis is how paranoid our world has gotten. A woman brings hand lotion (now a banned item) onto an international flight and ends up getting the plane escorted to a different airport by two fighter jets. Yeah, she may have been a little disruptive (she was claustrophobic, for cripes sakes -- not an uncommon thing on a plane), but for crying out loud, this has just gotten out of hand.
