Any Interest in a Local Web Developer/Designer Usergroup?
I know Jon and I floated the idea of a PHP user group a while back, but it never came to be, probably because of its too specialized of focus. However, a broader usergroup that encompassed web development as a whole might not be a bad idea. Any takers?

This sounds very interesting if there will be enough of us. I'll send the word out to some people I know in development circles as well.
What befuddles me a little bit is, would this be a live get together or an online get together, like the CObloggers mailing list? I know my schedule is an impossible thing, so I'm hoping it's the online kind. :]
Mark Turner said on 08/03/06 @ 07:59 PM: I think that somthing like this would be fun. I prefer the In-Person approach, its a little funner meeting with people face-to-face, and gettting to know who they are.
Jen said on 08/08/06 @ 04:57 PM: I agree, Mark. In person works pretty well for most usergroups. My employer has agreed to let us use the conference rooms here after hours, unless someone has an idea for a better venue.

What are you doing down here? Don't you have something better to do? Like Go Back To The Top of the page, or even see who created this site?
