UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Google Earth Without The Huge DownloadGoogle Earth is a cool toy, but it's sometimes just a pain to get installed on computers (especially in an office environment). Somebody's gone thorugh the effort to make it into a Flash Application that can be just used online, and even tied in data from Windows Live Local. Most impressive!
