UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 31-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. Bill O'Reilly Is A Moron, Volume 2I've mentioned my distate for Bill O'Reilly several, several, several, several times before and his latest screaming actions and rants about The Insurgent, a "anarcho-syndicalist/marxist/crazy" publication on the UO campus, and how UO President Dave Frohnmayer should be fired, is absolutely asinine. For those who don't know what the hell I'm talking about, the Oregon Commentator is actually covering the whole thing just as well if not better than the Campus Daily Newspaper. But long story short, the Insurgent ran some offensive images of Jesus, people are mad, Bill O'Reily still doesn't obviously understand the constitution or the rights of a student press on a public campus, and thinks President Frohnmayer should be fired for not taking action even though Frohny is absolutely correct in not taking action against the paper -- though he really can't do anything anyway. The quote of the day is right here: "Bill O'Reilly doesn't know the First Amendment from the back of his own hand, which is a shame because he takes full abuse of it."
