UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and Ad Designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. Was Anybody At AdFed's AdBite Today?According to a comment, UtterlyBoring.com was mentioned at an AdBite luncheon today. Since I don't get out of the office much, let alone be able to make it to Bend during my lunch hour for a fancy lunch, can anybody other than Jen, who I'm convinced is stalking me (joking, Jen), confirm this? The Adfed topic was local websites, with a panel of presenters. I believe it was the moderator who mentioned UB, and the context had something to do with the huge and growing volume of web traffic.
