If you're reading this, you have too much time on your hands.
If you look outside my office, you'll see it's a frickin' mess. It's been snowing since I got here this morning, snowed about four inches so far, and it looks like it's only going to get worse. My drive home is going to be a mess, but it still looks better than it does on the Santiam Pass where it looks really ugly.

Paul said on 11/28/05 @ 05:10 PM: Here in the Netherlands it snowed for the first time this fall on Friday. It was disasterous weather; endless traffic jams, no busses, no trains and total chaos. The power even went out in part of the country (which is extremely rare here).
The majority of the traffic jams didn't clear up until 5am the next morning, imagine that. The Red Cross was passing out blankets and rations on the freeway, and the national railways were giving everybody free coffee. Several counties offered hotel rooms for people who really coundn't get home.
I was stuck smack dab in the middle of this mess, but managed to hitch a ride with a perfect stranger.
