UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. Slow Right-Click FixerIf you get annoyed by how it sometimes takes forever for right-click menus to show up on certain items, this program is your solution (and I'm mostly bookmarking this here so I don't lose the URL). 7 CommentsPaul said on 11/23/05 @ 06:20 AM:Hey, what a coincidence. It is also super slow openning some documents (Especially text files with notepad). I know notepad is an huge complex program and all. Anyways, disabling those shells didn't seem to do anything for me. Does anyone have any other ideas? First try unplugging the network connection and if this solves this delays, try WireShark, start it when you right-click and it will show you the problem, then delete this entry from registry and voila!
