UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 31-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Rita Is ComingOne of my blog buddies down in Houston is still trying to decide whether to wait or to evacuate. Traffic's a mess down there, so he might end up waiting the storm out in town, taking out the looters after the storm, and getting some corporate computer networks back up and running after the thing hits.
