Digging A Hole To China

I remember thinking when I was a kid, if I dug a hole deep enough, I'd get to China. In reality, I'd end up in the middle of the Indian ocean.

Neato: I get pretty close to some islands east off the coast of New Zealand. I wonder what they're called; it would be neat to go over there sometime.
