Oh my gosh! He had, well, nearly 11 times the legal amount here in the Netherlands. Us Dutch people appartantly aren't happy enough with that, or with having a coffeeshop at every street corner. We regularly see drug-busts with over 1000 plants.
If you're busted, you have to pay a measily fine and the authorities will dispose of your plants (although you may keep 5 plants and practicly all the equipment). No prison sentence, by the way.
I must say that the funniest thing about this story is that the man was already a Crook before they arrested him!
