How To Turn Your Blog Into A Gopherlog

This would make a great practical joke down the road (and sadly, I still remember getting information from Gopher sources back in the day).

Gopher was great back then. My first Internet access was in 1993 through a dialup gopher run by the public library in the Albany, New York, area.

In the early days of the Web, even though we were all putting up those early websites, I remember deliberately setting up a gopherpage as well.

Mmm, gopher.

Gopher rules (ruled?), I remember spending hours (dial-up, naturally) just "surfing" gopher sites in awe :)
