UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Addicting Flash GameThis reminds me of the Smack The Penguin game I posted a while back. This one, while in Japanese, is horribly addicting (wish I knew what some of the characters in there meant). I've seen it posted in a few places, but haven't had a chance to try it until now. So far, my best is Updated with working link for Penguin post. Chris said on 03/07/05 @ 03:18 AM: Some tips: There's nothing you can do about hitting the "Stopper Chicks" but if you run into one of the "Dodge Chicks" you receive a special move which lets you avoid the "Slow Down Dudes". Just remember to be ready to click when you see "SPECIAL" appear. This gives you a huge boost. While you're in the air you can click to boost yourself (as long as "Hit-By-A-Bike Dude" is on visible.) If you're descending, you can hit yourself back up in the air. You can do this 3 times. If you're ascending, you can hit yourself back down, presumably to catch some more bonuses or something. The latter is unlimited but recharges a little after each bounce. Get a good start, a SPECIAL boost, then hit yourself back up in the air while you're doing well and you'll clear 2000 easily.
