UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. Rand says that it called 500 people between the ages of 15 and 44 and asked them questions. Not very representative of the black population and there's only a 40 to 60% response rate for telephone surveys.
