UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Subversive Cross StitchI might take up cross stitching just for this purpose. 3 Commentslisa said on 12/22/04 @ 03:19 PM:my mother was a pioneer? ...in the late 70s, my mother was barred from showing her work in an annual stitchery guild show... the guild said it was "too political"... so she painstakingly put her frustration into a new piece... in baby-blue 6-inch beautiful flowery letters she created a lovely response: "Fuck You" it's a rather beautiful piece, as it requires a double-take to read past the exquisite stiching... I think it will look swell hung above the couch...
