Typography of Newspaper Front Pages

I studied (and practiced) newspaper design in college, and really enjoyed it. Still, to this day, I'm a typography junkie, and I love it when I read things like this. A study was done comparing and compiling what the top 100 newspapers are doing with their typefaces on their front pages. Here's the full PDF file of the study results. It's interesting stuff, but I'll stop here, as it maybe interests about two of the regular readers of this site.

Strange... went to the site, clicked on today's LA Times front page, and even at the reduced file size could see that most of their headlines Capitalize Most of the Words Like This, but there's a feature story in the middle where they don't!

What kind of consistency is THAT???

I'm sure if you asked them about it, you'd get a long story about how their 400-page style guide dictates why it's like that. ;)

I took a look and was very interesting, but, most important is the visual significance.

Anybody knows where to find newspapers frontpages? (apart from newseum.org.......?

thanks
