UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and graphic designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. Limited Blogging and a Cheap PlugI'm busy as hell today at work, but I will try to get a few links up later today. I did want to make a cheap plug for the Cascade Winds Symphonic Band concerts this afternoon and tomorrow (3:00 and 7:30, respectively). The concerts are free, the music is great, and it features one of the best groups of percussionists this area has seen in a long time (certainly the best in the 12 years I've been in the band). It will be a great show. If you don't enjoy yourself, you can kick my but for it -- or just blog about it and ridicule me, I don't care.
