UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and graphic designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. Blogger Murders MotherFigures it was a LiveJournal user (</sarcasm>). This story is all over the 'net today (heard about it late yesterday). Rachelle Waterman hated her mother (why, I have no idea, as the daughter appeared to have a pretty cushy life) and used her blog to recruit folks to help her in the deed. Link to copy of one of her final entries, posted Nov. 14 -- hours after law enforcement learned of the mom's reported death.
