How The Country Was Divided
I think this pretty much sums up how the country was divided this election season (yes, it's an Onion link, so it's supposed to be funny and offend everybody). North America could be similarly divided this way. Thanks Barney and Aaron for the image links.

United States of Canada? from Breaking Windows 2.0 on 11/04/04 @ 06:29 PM: Jake linked to this image on someone's iDisk and it looks like it is down now, but Urban Vancouver has it. Thanks to Richard Eriksson for pointing to the UV site (nice of him to plug that site, isnt it?)... (Read More)

Pat said on 11/05/04 @ 12:34 AM: this is actually a real cool map that uses the general blue and red for dems and reps. however, it does it county by county and does different shades between blue and red to show what amount voted which way.

Jesse Thompson said on 11/05/04 @ 03:40 AM: According to Pat's map, several things are very clear.
Strong Kerry supporters live near: running water (Mississipi river, east and west coast lines, Colorado river / grand canyon, great lakes)
Strong Bush supporters live near: The Chisolm Trail, and the least habitable / least populated areas of the mountain time zone (wyoming, utah, colorado, death valley, etc).
Alex said on 11/07/04 @ 12:37 PM: Hi. I just found your site and I'd like you to know that you're RIGHT that does offend me because I happen to live in Wisonsin and I DO NOT hate myself and, well, lol, I kinda like Pat's map better. :p Lol. It is funny though...sort of. >:-)
