Medical Records in Your Wallet

Starting at $149, Redi-Records will create a business-card-sized CD that you can carry with you that will contain you complete medical history, the idea being that if you're in an accident that doctors can boot the CD and find out what drugs you're allergic to, what medical specialists you see, medial power of attorney, etc. Thanks to the Raw Feed for the link.

Sounds ridiculously expensive. Why not buy blank business card CD stock and make software that collects all that yada and burns it to CD for you?

Other question is, how does this media not get scratched or cracked in that crazy wallet of your'n? ;)

Good luck getting ahold of all that data in digital format, and then creating an OS that will boot up easily with an easy GUI that's legally binding :)
