Bend Bulletin RSS Feed

As he promised a while back, Jon has hacked together an RSS Feed for The Bulletin. It's obviously not perfect, and ideally The Bulletin would have one of their own, but this gets the job done for now.

KFXO News Has A RSS Feed from UtterlyBoring.com on 08/23/06 @ 03:37 PM:
It appears that KFXO is trying (not a very good attempt, really) to actually get some news content on their site. Because of the poor coding on the articles pages,... (Read More)

The Bulletin has an RSS feed. Naturally, it only has their free stories (which means there are only four in the feed right now), but it's better than nothing. I... (Read More)

Since they only put online in the afternoon what they print in the morning, and they only print in the morning what they covered the evening before, and they often only cover the evening before what they stole off of our website from the evening before that, you could have just time-delayed bend.com's RSS feed 48 hours and been done with it. :)

I made a news crawler system that allow easy crawling of non RSS site. You can have a near real time RSS feed for BendBulletin here http://express.xstreamsoft.com/dyn/rss/1FD44DFB-A9B5-489D-A947-306BB0C4E793-en.aspx

Who was the editor/publisher of the Bulletin in 55/6 when I worked on it.

Well... I be... all this is now pointless as the bulletin has changed their entire web site and locked out 80% of their users (paying subscription only). Who, in their right mind, is going to pay to access content online? I guess Bend.com is now poised to take the majority of all their cast-off traffic. Good for you guy. Take it and run!

Help is needed, the Bend Bulletin refuses to contract with a comic strip called "Pearls Before Swine" how could this venue make that happen or could it?
