That's One Way To Survive The Storm
Since county officials wouldn't listen to his pleas for a storm shelter, one Florida resident, prepping for Hurricane Frances, dug a hole, and lived in aburied a U-Haul trailer filled with supplies.

Gordie said on 09/06/04 @ 10:54 PM: 20+ years ago, I lived on the coast of Florida just a bit north of where the hurricane eyed in. The highest point on that barrier island was 8 feet, and we hit fresh water at 4.5 feet--watered the lawn with it. Even if we'd dug a shallow hole in the yard, I hate to imagine all the roaches, snakes, spiders, scorpions, etc. that would have been flooded out of their homes and into that hole. Yuck.

What are you doing down here? Don't you have something better to do? Like Go Back To The Top of the page, or even see who created this site? This site is © 2001 - 2012 by the Utterly Boring folks at UtterlyBoring.com. Steal my content, as I probably did, too, just link to my site or the original site. Batteries not included. One size fits all. Not for off-road use. Not for internal use. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.
