UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Man gets 115 MPH Ticket DroppedHe went through the effort of bringing in an expert driver to test his Fiat Punto 1.2 liter to prove that there's no way it could go that fast. The driver came back, and said that the fastest it could do was 104 MPH -- going downhill and with a trailing wind.
