UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. A piece ran in today's Bulletin about bloggers in Central Oregon, featuring the lovely mugs of Jon, Chris, and I on the front page of the Community Life section in the paper.
I haven't completely read through the story yet, but if you're coming here from the print edition, welcome! What I find funny (ironic?) is that a story about blogging -- an very popular online activity -- is nowhere to be found on the Bulletin's Web site.
