UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 31-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. I was getting pelted with porn referral spam, so I created a .htaccess file to eliminate them. That was working really well, then I noticed I was getting tons of hits from Google looking for porn sites. So I added entries to the .htaccess file to eliminate that problem too. If you want, I'd be glad to send you my .htaccess file so you can see what I have done. Let me know. Just send an e-mail to the address I left here and I'll send it.
