UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. You probably know about BugMeNot, the essential tool to get by user registration on news sites. As a very well done joke, they've decided that they want to "create a better online experience" and have a registration form as well. It asks questions about religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, income, bank balance, how much you spend on herbal supplements and prescriptions, if you suffer from sexual dysfunction, how many times you have sex, and if you've ever fantasized about killing your boss.
