UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. Last I checked, we don't have any in Bend that do -- maybe a couple of the smaller ones. Two of the Sunriver courses do, and Meadow lakes in Prineville does. I'd love to be out there playing -- heck, I could play for free at River's Edge, and Lost Tracks if I wanted, because I work at Sunray -- but I just don't think we need another frickin' course in the land of the desert.
