UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. A BitTorrent Search EngineSeen this linked in a few places. I haven't really got into BitTorrent too much, but now it might be easier since there's a good search engine for files. 9 CommentsDave M. said on 07/20/04 @ 10:44 AM:It's not as good as it sounds, it's not bad either. www.suprnova.org is a really good place to look for bittorrents of all kinds of things. BitTorrent's are a great way of getting files, however, last I heard, the RIAA was looking into them. Probably the MPAA as well, since movies that haven't even made it to the theaters publically, are being transfered via torrents. Bittorrent also seems to be quite a bit faster than the other P2P file sharing solutions out there.
