UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and Ad Designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. Happy 4th of JulyHave some fun with some fireworks -- the virtual kind. Please don't be one of those bastards that are trying to upstage the fireworks show on the Butte and keep me up all night. Some of us have to work tomorrow -- and today for that matter -- and if you wake up me or my 11-month-old or my 4-year-old, there's going to be an ass-kicking coming somebody's way.
