Local sunriver resident fails to gain fame by mooshing together alpha-bits and making sculptures out of them. Detractors claim that mooshing the alphabits makes them lose their origional shape, leaving this discipline congruent to any other form of cereal sculpture.

In other news, famed typewriter artist Smaul Pith invents an automated machine that generates typewriter art for him. Though it may only use the 'period' symbol, it can deftly apply periods in fascinating ways. He calls his new invention a "dot matrix printer".
