UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 32-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and graphic designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. Need Computer Part DonationsShannon works for a non-profit in the area, and the computers were all stolen from her office (after their office had been broken into already). Needless to say, they weren't insured, so I said I'd help out. If anybody has ANY computer parts they can donate, get in touch with me (jake at thisdomain dot com), so we can see if we can build at lease some functional computers for them.
