UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. That's a Lotta Bull!Quoting a forwarded e-mail from Barney's friend: I was out in the badlands about a month ago and found the coolest nest with these LARGE hungry baby birds with there eses still closed and mouths wide open... they are on a clif about 15 feet straight up in a little cave and I can climb the rocks across from them and take pics into the cave, so i have been going out there once a week ( today was the 4th shoot) and taking pics as they grow... it has been realy cool... anyway the sick (evil twin) made me take this pic today and i thought yo would get a laugh out of itLaugh I did...  2 CommentsJesse Thompson said on 05/25/04 @ 12:17 AM:So for reals, how do you upload images like this into posts in Movable Type? :) Jake Ortman said on 05/25/04 @ 09:12 AM: There's an "Upload File" button on the back-end in MT to do this type of thing. If you have Image::Magick installed (or you have NetPBM libraries installed, you can use this tutorial) if will create a thumbnail for you, as well. I'm manually putting in the imagestamp, as I don't have time to learn how to do that with IM (though I know it's possible). Post a comment |
