UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. The biggest drawback was that the Quake I map constraints didn't allow really wide maps that would have been good for a racing game. Everything else worked fine though. You could have 1st or 3rd person perspective, instead of "holding a weapon" you could see "your hand on a steering wheel" which was rad :) I remember you could play pool in Duke Nukem 3D..
