UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 30-year-old dad, percussionist, freelance Web designer, consultant and jack-of-all-trades computer geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. In addition to editing this site in his free time, he is the IT Director and Ad Designer at both Sunray and Discover Sunriver. Bend students are dancing -- just not at schoolI posted last month about the Bend High School dance that was shut down early for some naughty dancing. So with senior proms coming up, what's the status now? Summit High School in Bend is just canceling dances entirely, and Bend High students are planning to hold their own "anything goes" dance off of school property. This could get messy, and is starting to show the workings of a sequel to Footloose -- I can picture Kevin Bacon playing a bull-headed school principal. Posted by Jake on 04/25/04 @ 11:29 AM
