qdl said on 03/18/04 @ 09:27 PM: interesting article. she says carbs are essential, but she doesn't quantify the carbs or provide results of a scientific study. for all we know, 50g of carbs may be enough to trigger that happy dance in the brain.
i'm on Atkins, and my bitchiness level has remained consistently high throughout the process. maybe it's the "carb cravers" who go crazy and bake a cake in the middle of the night.
Nameless One said on 04/15/09 @ 09:01 AM: This explains a lot. When I was on ths diet I was a raging bitch and now my mother is on it and she is HORRIBLE to live with.
