UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. He created this so that his expensive journalism and technology degree isn't getting totally wasted. This guy's mom is crazyEverybody's a bit of a pack rat, and I've heard horror stories from folks whose moms keep everything under the sun -- "You never know when you're going to need it!" As they get older, they collect more stuff, and, looking at this lady's collection of crap, she has to be about 900 years old. They could clean it out, sell it off, and use the proceeds for Mom's THERAPY. And the kid who posted it all, I suggest that when he moves out, he should be a cowboy or a trucker or a wilderness ranger, so he can enjoy the wide open spaces for the rest of his life, with a wireless modem of course.
