UtterlyBoring.com is produced by Jake Ortman (e-mail, resume), a 33-year-old dad, percussionist, sysadmin, Web developer, IT consultant and jack-of-all-trades geek, living in Bend, Oregon. Stupid Law, #4958This is something that would only happen somewhere like Alabama (ducking to avoid the stuff that will now be flung at me). A State Representative was pulled over for driving like a moron -- because he was drunk (so say police, though the Rep denies it). Here's the kicker: During legislative sessions -- or when traveling to or from sessions -- Alabama state law only lets the police arrest legislators for felonies, treason or breach of peace.
